Eagle Security Systems was established in 1983 by Jack & Susan Golds and were then based in Heanor, Derbyshire before moving to Ilkeston as we had out grown our Heanor site. Sadly Jack passed away in 2024 but Susan is still very much a part of the business today.
Based in Ilkeston Derbyshire the company is well known for the installation and maintenance of domestic Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control, Fire alarms, Fire extinguishers and gate automation systems as well as other sectors in the security industry. Which also includes the maintenance and installations for Commercial, Industrial and the Public Sector including many high security and sensitive sites. We pride ourselves as a local company with a dedicated staff.
As a company we operate throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and the East Midlands. We provide services for Homes, Businesses, Councils, Government Departments and the Police. We are approved by NSI Gold, Bafe, NICEIC, Gatesafe, and the ADSA (The Automatic Door Association). We are members of the FPA (Fire Protection Association), NDCC (Nottingham and Derby Chamber of Commerce), Trusted Trader and the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses).

Accreditations
NSI Gold
We are accredited NSI Gold for Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Access Control and also for CCTV. Including CCTV for Level 1 Police Response.
NICEIC
We are NICEIC approved installers. Which means we are electrically competent and meet the relevant technical and safety standards, codes of practice and rules of the Schemes.
BAFE
We comply to the widely recognised BAFE SP203 scheme, and the BAFE SP101 scheme covering the supply and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.
ADSA
We are accredited ADSA installers, meaning we have good understanding of the standards and legislation. Ensuring we are competent to advise, specify and inspect the safety on a Power Pedestrian Door System.
DHF
We are members of the DHF Powered Gate Group and comply to their rules to issue a Declaration of Conformity and apply to corresponding CE mark to all new installations as required.
Gate Safe
We are members of Gate Safe, ensuring we work to their requirements when it comes to making automated gates safe.
Acclaim Accreditation
We are members of Acclaim Accreditation is Health and Safety accreditation service provided by Supplier Assessment Services.

QMS are one of the UK’s leading ISO Certification bodies.
We are certified in ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management and also ISO45001:2018 - Health & Safety Management.

We are members of Constructionline which also validates SSIP as "Deemed to satisfy" via the health & safety specialists at Acclaim.
