Eagle Security Systems Limited
Eagle Security have been installing and maintaining automatic and electric gates for over 30 years, and one of the biggest problems we have encountered is badly fitted and in many cases dangerous gates. When the NSI announced they were introducing an approval scheme in line with the DHF code of practice. This new scheme was to include regular inspections to ensure the code of practice was adhered to. Eagle Security were delighted to announce they successfully gained the NSI Gold Approval for Automatic Gates and barriers. Unfortunately the enforcement of the stringent standards were not accepted by the majority of the gate industry and the scheme was discontinued.
We have long been aware that there are many gates and barriers that can present a danger to both the public and to users. Following a fatal accident concerning a poorly fitted gate the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) successfully prosecuted the persons responsible for gate. This led to a prison sentence. Many Businesses and members of the public are not aware and do not realise the dangers involved in poorly installed and maintained electric gates. For a limited period Eagle Security are offering a free safety inspection and pressure test on any automatic electric gates. This is a no obligation service where any dangers or problems will be brought to the attention of the person responsible and a free fixed price quotation prepared for any remedial work required. Many firms are offering a similar service but can you be sure of there training skills. If there are no faults present we can for your complete peace of mind arrange for you to receive a safety certificate. We are supporters of Gatesafe who are approved by The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health to provide safety training to approved installers.
